The shoe manufacturer ara was already founded in 1949 as a family business and therefore looks back on more than 60 years of company history. The product line ranges from women's and men's shoes to professional shoe care products as well as bags. Every year about seven million pairs of shoes are produced in about 130 work steps in six production plants. The headquarters of the company is located in Langenfeld in Rhineland. All products by ara convince with a high quality, a perfect fit and a high wearing comfort – which is the result of more than 60 years of experience in the production of shoes. One special feature of ara shoes is the so-called exchangeable footbed which optimally adjusts itself to the individual foot form and therefore offers a high wearing comfort. A special gel pad, which is incorporated into the footbed, offers additional support for muscles, bones and joints. Of course the shoes also convince with their look: Fresh colors, varied designs and innovative shapes stand for the durable shoes of ara.
